6 years of Biotechware
BIOTECHWARE was born in 2011 from an idea of two young IT engineers, Alessandro Sappia and Enrico Manzini; at the end of the post-graduate collaboration with a telemedicine company in the cardiologic field and strengthened by this experience, Alessandro and Enrico founded Biotechware, a highly innovative start–up that immediately earned itself a position in the Enterprise Incubator of Politecnico di Torino (IP3).
Here, Biotechware has designed and developed CardioPad Pro, the first portable professional electrocardiograph purposely developed to be used in Telemedicine that resorts to an integrated cloud platform to save, process and transmit the data.
Thanks to the combination of very high level hardware and software elements, CardioPad Pro has gained a whole lot of recognitions, from the Lamarck Award of the young entrepreneurs of Confindustria Piemonte, to the Premio Unionecamere Innovatori di Impresa, Maker Fair Rome, Franci@Start-Up of the the Italian Master Start-up, which have progressively called the attention of Italian and foreign investors on the young company, thus providing resources as well as the opportunity to export such technology overseas.
This is how Biotechware invests all its resources
In Research&Development, in order to make progressively more advanced solutions for the health of the citizens available to the world of health care and of its patients.
In enhancing its platform and devices, which are designed to be the top solution for telemedicine in Italy.
In the foreign markets, to spread its fully Italian technology throughout the world.
